How can I get around in Bocas?

Isla Colon is not a very big island and it offers a number of ways for getting around. In addition to bus services which run up the East coast and through the middle of the island to the North West, there are water and land taxi services that charge a fair rate for the distances that they travel. Water taxis also take travelers to neighboring islands, which allows you to explore further.

Most people on the island move around by bicycle. Most main roads are paved, so this makes it easy to reach far into the island. However, many travelers opt to hire electric bikes (E-bikes) to help them up and down the hills in the jungle or to reach the stunning and isolated beaches further north of the town center.
