What is your equipment like?

As the only PADI 5* IDC Center on the island, at Bocas Dive Center we pride ourselves in using only the very best equipment. As a Scubapro retailer we predominantly use Scubapro for our BCD’s and regulators. We offer a range of fin brands so that we can fit almost every foot comfortably. Our tanks are new and filled using our own top of the line compressor system which is away from all potential sources of pollution.

All of our equipment is stored in fit for purpose locations. Every diver who has either their personal equipment, is undertaking a course or has booked a dive package with us is offered a locker in which they can secure all their gear and personal effects.

To keep our divers safe from potential COVID-19 infection, all of our equipment is thoroughly sanitized after every dive. Other safety precautions that we are taking include:

·         Wearing a mask in all common areas are mandatory

·         Temperature check before to come in

·         Sanitizing all common areas at the front desk, equipment room, compressor room, on the boats (before and after you go onboard)

·         Social distancing during theory classes and onboard

·         Gear disinfection after every touch with US EPA's N List approved for COVID disinfectant and following all protocols recommended by PADI & DAN

·         Implementation of e-Learning for all available courses.

As with all of our equipment, it is serviced by our qualified in-house team. We can also offer courses to divers in Equipment Maintenance if they are interested in learning how to better maintain their personal dive equipment.
