First step to become a diving professional!
The PADI Eco-Divemaster program is the first step into the diving professional world. The program can be taught in two different ways: practical option, taking around 2 weeks (if you already have substantial dive experience) and educational internship where you will be studying and diving alongside our instructors and divemasters, fully immersing yourself in the dive world.
The Divemaster course is split into 4 parts. The first is your academics. These can be done in your own time and are then reviewed by our instructors. The second part is your stamina test, equipment exchange and mapping project, which are completed at different points throughout your dive training. The last two parts are your confined sessions and open water dives. You will be involved in teaching workshops for Discover Scuba Diving, Scuba Reviews, Skin Diving courses and snorkel tours too.
We love our ocean environment and as such strive to take care of it. At Bocas Dive Center we run regular dive against debris, and you will participate to this program. During your training, you will also have the opportunity to take part in fish and reef surveys and studies as part of the Coral Watch Program and REEF Survey Program. We also include two PADI specialty courses: Project AWARE specialist and Project AWARE
